Goudi’s famous unfinished cathedral, called the Sangrade Familia (tel: 34 932 073 031) in Barcelona is definitely a site worth seeing. The cathedral began construction in 1882 and within a few years Goudi was the prime designer and continued to work on the project until his death in 1926. This is an absolutely breath taking cathedral with many towers and high ceilings. They are open 9 – 6 from October through March and 9 – 8 from April through September.

The Alhambra (tel: 34 958 225 245) located in Granada is a magnificent palace that comes complete with patios, pools and gardens. This was the location of the ancient Moorish capital of Spain. The site leaves you with a taste of the great history of this country. They are open every day from 8:30 – 6 and they offer guided tours every morning at 10.

If you can plan your trip during the month of July, a trip to Pamplona to experience the running of the bulls could be a good option for you. Every morning at 8am from July 7 – 14, they let the bulls loose down the 825 meter pathway. You can choose to run with the bulls or play it safe and just be a spectator, either way you will have the experience of a lifetime.
